Icharus Falls...
Well, it's Monday post the Superbowl. Unfortunately, I am not doing the Superbowl Shuffle. After watching the Bears get to the Superbowl after predicting it, I was on top of the world. It's a shame that they couldn't close the deal. I'm happy for Peyton Manning and Tony Dungy. Those two really deserved to be on the top of the heap for a bit. I just didn't want it to come at the expense of my beloved Bears.
Time heals all wounds and being of strong sports fan stock, it only took a night. I am revved up about baseball and looking forward to trying to catch Alfonso Soriano in AZ for Spring Training. Let's not forget March Madness as my Salukis tend to always end up in the dance. As you can see, I have a great coping mechanism. Moving on to the next sports season :-)
In the meantime there have been so many things that I wanted to write about in here but my life has been consumed with thinking only of the Bears Superbowl victory. Many of my blog gems have been forgotten or no longer seem as grand but I will be back to blogging full speed.
