Where have you been Missy?
I know, I know! 2 steps forward and 15 back. I was doing so good in early September with my posts and then I fell off the face of the earth.
What have I been doing? Where have I been? Why haven’t I updated?
All good questions that I will answer starting now.
What have I been doing?
I have been working like a Hebrew slave at noon, who is trying to make bricks with no straw. Work has been CRAZY and not the good Gnarls Barkley kind. I have been pulling 50 hour weeks Monday thru Friday and until the end of September still working at the museum on weekends.
Where have I been?
Primarily work although I have been logging some time at my local sports bars. It’s football season and I don’t have cable or satellite. As any fan of football knows, that’s a recipe for disaster. Most of the games are no longer on regular tv and poor schmoes like me have to go out to watch our games. So instead of using my precious time to write insightful blogs on the happenings of San Francisco and the world at large, I have been getting sloshed while watching football games. Don’t blame me, blame those 4 – 0 Chicago Bears!
Why haven’t I updated?
A combination of the first two answers above. Between working full speed and watching football, there just didn’t seem to be enough time to do anything. I’m sure that everyone will be happy to know that I am handling things much better now and should be back to my original goal of one new post a week.
I know that this feels sort of like a cheap post since it’s just an update. I might feel guilty enough to make a “real” post later this week. Especially if the Cubs get their behinds in gear and make Joe Girardi their new manager!!
